I am a big fan of Formula One Racing – commonly referred to by enthusiasts as F1. F1 is a high tech, high octane sport which costs millions of dollars to participate in. I enjoy it for a number of reasons including the fact that it is first and foremost, a team sport. 

To succeed in F1, to win, a number of factors must work together in harmony. You need sponsors, a great engine, excellent engineers, a factory of experienced and highly motivated staff, a well drilled and efficient pit crew and of course, a great driver whose feedback helps to pull all of these elements together.

Our ampersand, the character, “&” represents not only the unity among our partners but is of itself a symbol of a culture of togetherness and team spirit that we have deliberately cultivated and which we believe is the core of our success to date.

I thought it important as we launch our new website to explain what the ampersand means to ACAS-LAW, its partners and staff. Going forward, our partners will use this blog to discuss pertinent issues of legal/public interest in a light hearted manner which we hope you will enjoy.
