Chinedu Kema is a Senior Associate in the Energy & Project Finance Practice Group of the firm and is based in Lagos, Nigeria.
Kema acts primarily for oil and gas exploration and production, marketing and service companies, and companies operating in the Nigerian power sector. He has garnered experience in offering legal advice to cross-border and local investors involved in project developments in Nigeria. His experience includes advising on financing transactions, joint venture arrangements, regulatory compliance and ancillary commercial and corporate matters. He is actively involved in project structuring and negotiations and has been involved in the conduct of legal due diligence exercises. He also regularly advises on local content compliance requirements and structuring.
Kema enjoys playing and watching football.
Having graduated from the Imo State University in 2011, Kema was admitted to the Nigerian Bar in 2012 with a first class honours grade.
Kema is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association.
