Chinedu Kema is a Senior Counsel in the Energy & Project Finance Practice Group of the firm and is based in Lagos, Nigeria.
Kema acts primarily for oil and gas exploration and production, marketing, and service companies. He has garnered experience in offering legal advice to cross-border investors involved in project developments in Nigeria especially as they relate to the Nigerian oil and gas industry. His experience includes advising on financing transactions, joint venture arrangements, regulatory compliance and ancillary commercial and corporate matters. He is actively involved in project structuring and negotiations and has been involved in the conduct of several legal due diligence exercises.
Kema enjoys playing and watching football.
Having graduated from the Imo State University in 2011, Kema was admitted to the Nigerian Bar in 2012 with a first class honours grade.
Kema is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association.
