On Saturday 15 August 2020, West Africa Container Terminal Nigeria Limited (WACT) received the Maersk Stadelhorn at the Onne Port in Rivers State Nigeria. The Maersk Stadelhorn with an overall length of 300metres and beam of 48.2metres, has the capacity to carry about 10,000 TEU (Twenty Foot Equivalent Units) of containers. This is a historic feat for Nigeria and for WACT, as the Maersk Stadelhorn is the largest container ship to berth in any Nigerian port.
ACAS-Law is proud to have consistently advised WACT for nearly two decades now.
Congratulations to WACT and to Nigeria!
